Dr. Jacob Blom is passionate about providing thoughtful, patient-centered dentistry built on trust, compassion, and clinical excellence. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, he proudly carries the values of hard work and community into his practice every day.

Dr. Blom earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC, graduating in 2018. During his time there, he was honored to be elected President of his graduating class, a reflection of both his leadership and the respect he earned from his peers.

A Philosophy of Conservative, High-Quality Care

Dr. Blom believes the best dentistry is often the least dentistry. His philosophy centers on doing the minimal amount of treatment necessary to achieve beautiful, functional, and long-lasting results. He carefully evaluates every situation to ensure patients receive only what they truly need — nothing more, nothing less.

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Blom regularly attends study clubs, continuing education workshops, and advanced training courses to refine his skills and stay at the forefront of modern dentistry. His goal is simple: to continually improve so he can provide the highest level of care possible.

Compassion Comes First

More than anything, Dr. Blom wants his patients to feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for. He believes dentistry should feel welcoming — not intimidating. From the first phone call to the final follow-up, he strives to create an environment where patients feel warmth, transparency, and trust.

Life Outside The Office

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Blom enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. Family is at the heart of everything he does.

He’s also a devoted sports fan, cheering on his Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens, and Maryland Terrapins whenever he can. In his free time, he enjoys fantasy football, writing poetry, cooking creative meals, working out, and playing board games and card games with friends and family.

Giving back is something he relishes. He is a board member for the Coalition of Concerned Medical Professionals in Sacramento and he volunteers with them on a regular basis providing dental education and services. He also volunteers his time helping students interested in dentistry.
